Michael Rubin finally addressed Page Six’s April reporting that he pushed up his annual Fourth of July bash because of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding. The Fanatics boss held his star-studded bash at his Hamptons home on Wednesday instead of his usual July 3 or July 4 date as Swift, notably, is set to tie the knot in New York City on Friday. While Rubin claimed to People on Tuesday that he “didn’t change because of that date,” he then copped to being “certainly aware of the date” and not wanting “people to have to choose.” The 53-year-old told the outlet he had been “debating the dates” before ultimately making a decision. “People come to the White Party no matter when we do it,” he added. “The White Party is going to be spectacular.” Rubin’s bash took place on Wednesday with Alex Rodriguez, Teyana Taylor, Mike Tyson and more A-listers in attendance. Swift and Kelce’s wedding guests, meanwhile, have been arriving in New York City ahead of the couple’s Madison Square Garden nuptials, from Sabrina Carpenter to Camila Cabello. The couple is expected to walk down the aisle in front of more than 1,000 guests at the iconic Big Apple venue on Friday. They will host a more intimate rehearsal dinner of 100 people the evening prior. MSG has been a zoo all week, with a variety of delivery trucks unloading what appears to be a top-notch menu, the makings of a castle and more. Workers even rolled out a red carpet Tuesday — only to rip it up minutes later. Swift and Kelce have remained tight-lipped about their wedding plans since getting engaged in August 2025. While TMZ reported all guests had to sign non-disclosure agreements ahead of the ceremony, Page Six clarified on Wednesday that the couple’s close family and friends were let off the hook in that regard. “Protecting their privacy is just something everyone in their inner circle has always naturally done,” a source explained to us. “They know there’s enormous interest in every detail of their wedding plans, so they don’t take for granted how fiercely loyal their have been.” Your voice matters.
