Grasimea viscerala: un pericol pentru sanatate

Grasimea corporala are un rol important in functionarea organismului, insa nu toate tipurile de grasime sunt benefice. Aceasta se acumuleaza in jurul organelor interne din cavitatea abdominala si nu este vizibila la exterior.

Grasimea viscerala este depozitata profund in abdomen, inconjurand organele vitale precum ficatul, pancreasul si intestinele. Aceasta diferenta de localizare o face mult mai periculoasa comparativ cu grasimea subcutanata, care se gaseste imediat sub piele.

Una dintre cele mai ingrijoratoare caracteristici ale grasimii viscerale este activitatea sa metablica. Aceasta elibereaza substante inflamatorii si hormoni care pot afecta negativ metabolismul si starea generala de sanatate. Riscurile asociate cu acumularea de grasime viscerala sunt semnificative, ceea ce face necesara constientizarea acestui aspect.
